Snapchat’s Status feature lets your friends know what you’re doing

Foursquare, is that you? Snapchat has begun testing another component called Status in Snap Maps which gives you a chance to register with spots and enables your companions to perceive what you're doing.

With this new element you can share a Bitmoji on the snap map portraying what you're up to at a specific spot. You could demonstrate your little symbol playing computer games, sitting in front of the TV, requesting that companions hit you up and that's only the tip of the iceberg. You can likewise develop a rundown of spots you've visited.

Snapchat will gather the Bitmoji into a private journal of what you've been doing in an element called Passport.

The element was first spotted by Jane Manchun Wong, and announced by TechCrunch. A Snapchat representative told the distribution that Status is as of now being tried to a chosen few clients in Australia.

Beforehand, Snap Maps made sense of what you were up to by destroying up an irregular Bitmoji to speak to the season of day and spot you're at.

It's hazy when the highlights may take off for more clients, yet the Foursquare-like area capacities are probably going to be well known among the more youthful Snapchat client base.
